Here is a lovely framed work of art ‘Tina’ from the 1960s artist J.H. Lynch. This was painted by him in Surrey, England in 1964 and this is an early print.

His work along with Louis Shabner and Tretchikoff was part of a burgeoning romantic movement that was seen at the time by the snooty art world as high kitsch. But the original works of art sold for vast amounts and the three had a huge fan base and their prints such as this one, Tina, sold in vast numbers to the general public.

This print is in good condition with some minor marks that have been touched up. Please see closeups. The general appearance of the print is that of a greenish tinge. There were various hues used in print runs during the 1960s and 1970s and this is an early one. The colours have not been bleached or diluted by uv light.

The frame is in excellent condition and the back of the frame has had the masking tape removed and it’s possible to see the original blades that mounted the print, these are all showing signs of rust.

The print and frame measures approximately 25 inches by 20.5 inches.

Overall a gorgeous print from the 1960s in nice condition.

The framed work will be posted out extremely carefully packaged. There is no glass in these 60s frames so there is no worry regarding breakage.

Please study the photos carefully.
