This huge Japanese Imari 17-3/4” round charger platter is a stunning piece of history. Made of porcelain and pottery, it features a beautiful multi-color design that is sure to catch the eye of anyone who sees it. The center chrysanthemum flower is surrounded by geometric designs in cobalt blue and gold and green with four gold and iron red encircled phoenixes and chrysanthemums.


Pottery wheel circles visible on the bottom. Rough edge on foot, which indicates hand made. No logo indicates this is not new. There are no chips or cracks. The platter is thought to been previously owned by Elenor Kilgore Young who was Senator Harley Kilgore’s daughter.
