Item is made of plastic and not steel.  I am giving a discount on this because one of the wing tips (the smallest section at the end of the boom) when folded in the "L" position wants to come apart.  Nothing is broken on either joint piece. I think it's because it's made of "plastic" and the joint just doesn't fit quite tight enough.  It seems to stay on okay when not folded in the "L" position and I see no need to fold these outer sections anyways because they aren't in the "L" position when the whole boom is folded up and they are not in the "L" postion when the booms are fully unfolded either.  I would assume this is a common problem with these.  I therefore added a small piece of tape on the outer joint where the pin joint fits into and that helps it fit tighter (see the last photos).  It is not noticable and this is removeable if you so chose as it's just tape.  The ladder works fine.  Item is clean and looks brand new.  Please view all photos as they are part of the description.  Lower 48 states only.  No returns.
