This is a beautiful nude goddess bathing beauty art sculpture from the 1930's. It is composed of solid plaster/terracotta. Signed Kalmar as well as Budapest, Hungary. Trying to locate information on the Kalmar artist or brand has been challenging and I don't know if this figure is supposed to represent a particular deity or not. The piece remains in great condition with nice patina, and there is some expected paint wear consistent with age. The origins are unknown, however, I'm thinking this was likely sold as a souvenir in Budapest.
