Based on the many models bearing the name of blues king B.B. King, the Epiphone B.B. King Lucille is based on the various Gibson ES models he played over the years (all of which were named Lucille). Created with inspiration.
Gold hardware, GroverRotomatic tuners, GraphTech nut, ebony fingerboard with pearloid block inlays, brass truss rod cover engraved with B.B. King, mother-of-pearl Lucille inlay on headstock face, multi-layer binding on body and headstock, fine tuners It includes a number of fulfilling specifications such as a semi-hollow body with a TP-6 tailpiece and a maple center block to reduce feedback.
Unlike typical semi-hollow body guitars, the B.B.KingLucille does not have an F-hole on the top.
This is similar to the specifications requested by the customer to reduce feedback in previous Lucille models. The electronics are top notch, with a 6-position Varitone switch, two AlnicoClassicPRO humbucking pickups connected to CTS potentiometers, and stereo/mono outputs.
Comes with an EpiLite case.
