- 80s does 40s Dress
- Size 8, approximately a modern size L
- Shown displayed on my size large dress form, and it’s a good fit.
- This 1980’s era dress is styled as a throwback to the 1940’s. It’s a purple crepe rayon with an antique white lace and linen bib shawl collar on a v neckline. The bodice is a blouson style, with puffs on the shoulders, and 3/4 length sleeves. The waist has a double breasted look with big buttons for a nautical look, with a yoke style waist, featuring oversized pockets on either side of side of the waist, In the back of the waist, it’s got elasticized smocking making it ultra comfy, and fitting a variety of body types. The skirt portion is pleated, and semi full, and fits below the knee as tea / midi length. It zips up the back.
- What makes this special: It’s a colorful take on the Wednesday Addams dress
- Condition: Linen collar has an aged effect, see photos. A few small repairs. No other flaws or damages to note. Freshly washed and ready to wear.
