The 2019 DellingerProminence-MJR model has a 5-piece neck made of maple and walnut to improve the strength of the neck.
The body is a Dellinger Prominence body with a TAT curved top that greatly improves playability. (The body structure is an M3 structure that produces a quick sound.)
The DellingerProminence curved top has a bolt-on neck construction with a sophisticated neck joint that improves playability, giving a bolt-on neck guitar the ease of playing through-neck TAT.
At Michael Romeo's request, the frets are equipped with JimDunrop super jumbo frets.
The neck grip has a slightly shaved side of the fingerboard, and along with the super jumbo frets, supports high-speed play.
The pickup is a set of the ultra-high power DiMarzio pickup X2N and TheToneZone, which is a standard specification for MJR models.
The only controls are the minimal master volume and pickup selector switch.
The head cover is signed by Michael Romeo.
The M3 structure consists of a center piece of maple wood that is approximately the same width as the neck, with mahogany pieces placed on both sides.
The maple material in the center of the body and the maple material in the neck are joined with a bolt-on structure.
The M3 body construction provides a fast onset, well-balanced sound, and rich sustain.
Additionally, the M3 structure was designed with a gloss finish in mind. (Only the top of the head has a Pro.Black finish.)
