I have for sale a Slava Russian made freshly serviced genuine  military time and chronograph working perfect pocket watch. I can't tell you the exact year of production but I will say around 1950 ish. The dial is a sort of plastic paper and super clean with gold guilt original hands. All functions are perfectly working and the sweep hand snaps back perfectly to 12 pm. This is a chromed case only cleaned not touched nor altered and across it is 50mm so it is a 14 size by American standards.  The bank of this case has markings as well as the dial above the six but as I don't speak Russian I don't know what they mean or say. The inner chromed cuvette is a snap in. The movement does have 19 clean and inspected jewels and the model for this pocket watch is  4-56 and the movement serial number is 3548. I have cleaned and serviced this piece so it operates perfectly and keeps time indeed. Again I believe this piece was produced around 1950 ish.  The engraving on the back means “Department of Labor and Salaries”. The manufacturer of this watch is “Slava” . This watch originally had an off white cream dial and was repainted with “КАПИТАН" which means “Captain” in Russian after its military “decommission” during the late 80’s when all mechanical watches were obsolete.
