A true beauty is this simplistic style Elgin USA made wristwatch and again they got this one right didn't they. This is  3 piece case and the back is nickel, snap in with no personal engravings. The case serial number is 8,884,805 and signed "Star watch case". From lug to lug this clean nickel case is 38mm long and wide less the crown it is 33mm. The dial once again is enamel with a nice blue mid dial markings with a line or two though not Earth shattering at all. The crystal is glass and the hands are thin spade Elgin pieces and original. The movement has been carefully serviced with a new mainspring as it is an "0" size grade 320 and a class 116 model 2 movement with 7 clean and inspected jewels. The serial number for this gem is 15,472,325 which tells me this piece was produced at the Elgin American factory in the year 1911. The band is 19mm in width and never worn. As clean as can be is this piece and very elegant indeed!
