Fender PB57-70 Tobacco Brown Burst 1982 JV Serial

Description

Precision base of Fujigen period JV serial made by FenderJapan
The date 1982 is written on the neck, making it a valuable example from the first year of JV serial production, which was the first year production started under the FenderJapan brand at the Fujigen factory.
At that time, the 1957 reissue PB57 was available in PB57-95 with a lacquered anodized pickguard and PB57-70 with a polyester painted white pickguard, but this individual is determined to be a PB57-70 based on its characteristics.
The body material is alder in the catalog specs, but sen (stopper) is used. It was a widely used material for domestic musical instruments at the time, and it is thought that it was mixed with alder and used without distinction.
The parts are completely original, and there are no noticeable scratches or dents, and it is in good condition with very little signs of use.
Basically, the concept is a vintage reissue, but unlike later models of the same model, the fingerboard radius is 9.5R, making it a little flat.
The neck shape is also thin, making it an individual with good playability.
It has been completely maintained by our repair department.

Overall setup (string height, truss rod adjustment, octave, pickup height)

The current neck is slightly warped, and the 4th string is 2.5mm and the 1st string is 2.0mm on 12F.
The truss rod has plenty of adjustment left and right.
The neck is in good condition with no problems such as twisting or twisting. Currently, there are no problems such as chatter or sound jamming.
The frets are original, show little signs of use, and have plenty of remaining power.
The nut is original and has plenty of remaining capacity.
The electrical system is completely original, and the pickup in particular has a specification where only the 3rd string pole piece is raised, just like the vintage model, and you can see that a lot of effort was put into making it down to the smallest details.
It is in very good condition considering its age, but there are some small scratches due to use.
An external soft case is included.
