Ukrposhta released a new postage set "Weapons of victory. Made in UA"

Ukrposhta issued postage stamps "Weapons of victory. Made in UA". The issue is devoted to the newest samples of Ukrainian-made weapons, with the help of which the country's security and defense forces oppose the enemy and protect the lives of Ukrainians.

It is symbolic that April 13 is the Day of the worker of the defense and industrial complex of Ukraine. In this way, we honor the people who strengthen our defense capabilities by creating Ukrainian weapons, ammunition and equipment.

The postage set “Weapons of Victory. Made in UA” includes:

a postage stamp block “Weapons of Victory. Made in UA”, сover “First Day”, a C6 art envelope and two cards.

There are six stamps in the postage block, each of which depicts the latest Ukrainian weapons. The stamps contain a charitable component, so 30 hryvnias from each postal block will go to help the country's security and defense forces.

In the postal issue "Weapons of Victory. Made in UA" depicts modern weapons made in Ukraine:

- The Shark reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle is designed to observe and adjust fire. It is equipped with a highly reliable communication module that allows it to penetrate into the enemy's rear up to 80 km in conditions of electronic warfare.

- Lutyi is a strike tactical unmanned aerial vehicle created in a short time in the context of a large-scale invasion. It is designed to destroy stationary targets in the enemy's operational depth.

- One of the largest FPV drones “Eskadron”, created by large-scale assembly.

- The Bogdana self-propelled artillery system, which became the first Ukrainian self-propelled artillery system designed for the NATO-standard 155 mm caliber. The Bohdana is one of the most widely used 155 mm self-propelled artillery systems in the Ukrainian army.

- The Kozak armored vehicle is designed to transport personnel, weapons and military equipment. It can also provide “armor cover” during firefights, assaults on buildings, etc.

- The MAGURA V5 marine drone is an autonomous security unmanned robotic vehicle designed for surveillance, reconnaissance, patrolling, search and rescue, mine clearance, ship security, and combat missions.

The postage block contains six authentic stamps depicting these types of weapons. The issue was made with the support of the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine. The designers of the issue are Serhiy and Oleksandr Kharuky.

The circulation of the block is 120,000 approx., of which 7,000 approx. – non-perforated, intended for owners of filabonements of the "Exclusive" package and placement in the book "Postal stamps of Ukraine 2024"; "First Day" envelope - 40,000 copies. Unmarked artistic envelopes, cards.

Denomination of stamps U (corresponds to the tariff for forwarding domestic simple letters without a declared value weighing up to 50 g and postal cards) + UAH 5.00 charitable component.

Denomination of stamps F (corresponds to the tariff for sending internal registered letters without declared value weighing up to 50 grams and postal cards) + UAH 5.00 charitable component.

The format of stamps No. 2085 (2085-В), 2086 (2086-В) is 83.52x20.88 mm.

Denomination of stamps No. 2081 (2081-В) – 2084 (2084-В) – U (corresponds to the tariff for forwarding domestic simple letters without declared value weighing up to 50 g and postal cards) + UAH 5.00 (additional denomination for deduction to social (charitable) purposes).

Denomination of stamps - No. 2085 (2085-В), 2086 (2086-В) – F (corresponds to the tariff for forwarding internal registered letters without declared value (recommended) weighing up to 50 grams and postal cards) + UAH 5.00 (additional denomination , intended for deduction for social (charitable) purposes).

The circulation of the block is 120,000 copies (of which 7,000 copies are unperforated).

Circulation of FDC – 40,000 copies, envelopes – 60,000 copies, cards (each) – 100,000 copies.

The printing method is offset.

Stamps were printed on the "Ukraine" PC.
