This appears to be a genuine wall bell from the S.S. Himalaya. It measures 6.5"x6.5" not including the bracket. It is missing its ringer, and there is some patina.

The SS Himalaya was a British passenger ship of the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company, launched in 1948, which operated mainly between Britain and Australia. She was withdrawn from service in 1974 and scrapped the following year.
