This is a great looking men's custom made Brioni sport coat in a size 44S. This was from Bergdorf Goodman and was a size regular and was modified to a short at the sleeves.

It is a 2 button single breasted jacket that is made of

100% wool in a nice navy blue check plaid with tonal blue and copper striping. It is a Glen Plaid style pattern done in tonal navy blue. The great material and coat is made in Italy. This is a great looking material......the close up picture shows detailing the best!

This sport coat has 4 buttons on the sleeves and a double vented rear. Inside, the lining is done with the logo Brioni lining and there are 3 interior pockets. The label shows it was hand made by Brioni for Bergdorf Goodman. The interior pockets size tag shows it is the Nomentano model and was originally a regular at the sleeve length before the custom tailoring.

The measurements are as follows:

CHEST = 48 inches around measured just under the armpit area. We measure around the outside circumference of the jacket as if was being worn by a person. We do not measure laying flat.

SLEEVES = 33 1/4 inches measured from the center of the back neckline to the end of the cuff, 23 1/4 inches from the shoulder seams to the end of the cuff. This was shortened to this length, professionally at Bergdorf Goodman and looks well done. Please verify for your needs.

TAIL = 31 1/2 inches from the top of the collar to the end of the rear tail

SHOULDERS = 20 inches wide from seam to seam

WAISTLINE = 45 1/2 inches around the midsection at the bottom button which is about 10 inches up from the bottom of the hemline. We measure around the outside circumference of the jacket as if it was being worn by a person. We do not measure laying flat.

This great and high end Brioni wool navy blue plaid coat is handmade in Italy for the original owner. The exterior material looks very nice, but it can not perfect since it was worn though only a few times. There isn’t any major outside issues that are easily seen anywhere on this sport coat. You can tell it was loved and well taken care of.

Inside, there may be a few minor interior lining loose threads, but nothing major at all. All in all, this is stunning and in great condition.

Again, please note the details mentioned concerning the label stating it was a regular length to start, and was altered by Bergdorf Goodman’s master tailors at their flagship store for the original owner. The sleeves are now considered a short length and they were the only detail or length modified by BG. The work is well done with no way of really telling unless you saw the size tag inside the pocket.

This Brioni navy blue plaid coat will stand out in any crowd with this wonderful high end Italian material.
