The 290 is a model that fully incorporates Bill Collings' desire to create a cool and easy-to-handle guitar. Both the body and neck are made of mahogany. Normally it is equipped with a P90 made by Jason Lollar, but this machine has been replaced with a Joe Barden Soapbar Pickup.
