Hello,

Up for sale here is an Asus Formula XI Z390 Motherboard.

I bought this two plus years ago to replace the same board after it went faulty. I bought this sold as 'Working' at no small expense to me.

The PC booted into the BIOS on my workbench and I deemed that satisfactory to reassemble and restore my build, but as soon as it was fitted into the chassis it never powered back on.

I replaced the CPU to no avail and I see no obvious faults on the board. This is beyond my skill set to fix unfortunately and I have held onto it hoping that one day it might miraculously power on....wishful thinking.

I know nothing in the PC caused this, and my previous board to fail, as I used all the components that I could to put in my old 4th gen i7 and that has been working solid. I tested my RAM in a friends computer and that took worked a treat. So the problem is isolated to either my case...or the board.

I see a lot of these boards come up for sale parts not working and therefore I suspect it's got to be a common fault on these, something very simple to someone with the knowledge.

There are no accessories with this board sold as seen, what you see is what you're getting.

I accept no returns for this board, sold as faulty.

If you do fix it, let me know what the problem was as I'd love to know.

Hopefully be of use to someone, seems a shame to throw it away.

Any questions please ask

Kind Regards

Calum
