ANTIQUE SMALL 18th CENTURY BRONZE BELL INSCRIBED W.H 1778 AMERICAN REVOLUTION ERA
Interesting mall antique 18th Century bronze bell hand inscribed with the initials W H and dated 1778. Has an historic repair on the hole on top, an iron 'plug' is used to stop the hole from being worn away, also has signs of an attemp at a new hole just below. Sadly missing its original clapper and hook to attach a replacement, pls refer to images, otherwise in excellent condition with lovely patina, 240 grams weight. Very tactile and a great conversation piece.
