The vases are described to be from the Chien Lung Period of the mid to late 1700s, due to the materials of wood and Lacquer finish and cinnabar were made in the era. I found Chien Lung Period under another spelling with information: Qianlong was an emperor of China with a 60-year reign (1736-1795)  
 Each vase stands about 10 inches tall and are about 2.75" across each top rim. the neck tapers out to about 4.5" across and then tapers down to the bottom rim that is 2.75". 
Part of the design looks like the Greek key of life but is called meander design.
