Not only do the photographs lead to interesting insights into the history of the sites photographed, but they are also intriguing from the landscape point of view: stunning photographs! The sections include natural landscape, ancient tombs and stone circles, the patchwork of fields, villages, boundaries, castles, towns, industry and transport and religion. A wonderful book!
