For auction is an antique Withington Knife Co. Convex sharpener for sharpening knife blades and similar objects. Measurements are pictured. This beautiful tool was Pat. in 1900. It was basically a wood stick with tapered grinding rock surface on top. This particular example is in rough condition. The wood is still solid and crack free but has lost the majority of the hard surface it once had. The wood is also darkened from age. Nonetheless it’s still a very interesting scarce item in any condition, nice piece!
