scarce Free Polish Army in Great Britain WW2 1943 dated illustrated Field Post
Card depicting Polish Naval ‘Pom Pom’ Gunners in action on a Norwegian Fjorde,
with the inscription ‘Polish “Date” With Huns at Narvik 1940’. A British King
George VI 1 Penny postage stamp is attached tied with a British G.P.O. wavy
line cancel stamp for ‘Newark Notts’ dated 16 JLY 1943‘ (16th July
1943).
Also attached is a Polish
Field Post ‘Air Force’ Letter Seal with an official ‘Polish Field Post Office
Nr.1’ hand stamp dated 19 VII 43 (19th July 1943).

Scarce example in excellent
original condition.
An ‘austin1100’ logo has been
applied which does not appear on the buyer’s original.
