KNIVES. ONLY POSTING A COUPLE A DAY SO BOOKMARK ME FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

NOTE - no attempt has been made to polish, clean or otherwise make this knife more attractive for photos.

A good, vintage Robeson Shuredge half-congress pocket knife, model 626193 with very nice jigged bone scales and great snap. Believe the tang stamp dates this to between 1922 and 1939. Becoming increasingly uncommon.

Measures approximately 3 3/4 inches long overall, closed. Primary sheep foot blade measures approximately 1 15/16 inches long, edge only. Obverse tang stamped “Robeson Shuredge Rochester NY” with a line over “Rochester” and the “Shuredge” in script. Reverse tang stamped “626193”. Secondary pen blade measures approximately 1 11/16 inches long, edge only. Obverse tang stamp identical. Reverse tang stamped “Made in USA”. Good jigged bone scales, obverse with curved shield, unengraved. White metal pinched bolsters at each end. Brass liners. Good snap to both blades. Some light staining and scratching to main blade with light edge wear which I believe will grind out.  – no attempt made to do so. Secondary blade good with light staining. Scales very good with no chips or cracks – easy open notch for secondary blade. A couple of light stains and scratches to the spring.
