Everything changed in '69 when Led Zeppelin's Good Times Bad Times riff came on the radio. During this time, Jimmy Page continued to build on what he had created, rewriting the history of popular music with his Telecaster. The Fender Jimmy Page Mirror Telecaster is an homage to the Telecaster that was produced at the factory in a white blonde lacquer finish. The original was then called the Mirror Guitar and had a unique paint job. With each step of customization, this legendary guitar created some of the most iconic riffs of the 20th century.
JimmyPageMirrorTelecaster uses two pieces of ash for its body. The paint is a lacquer finish. Full-bodied, innovative tone heard on Led Zeppelin's first album. To provide that, we've mounted a pair of JimmyPageCustom'59Tele single-coil pickups. The custom Oval C-shaped maple neck features 21 vintage-style frets and a 7.25-inch radius slab rosewood fingerboard for a smooth playing feel. A top-loader bridge allows you to tension strings from both the back and front of the body. For authentic style and performance, it uses a bone nut and is equipped with a pure vintage single line Deluxe tuning machine.
JimmyPageMirrorTelecaster was created in collaboration with Jimmy Page. Page's personalized touches are featured on the headstock and custom chrome neck plate. The vintage tweed case includes eight round mirrors, a tribute to his customizations, a black coiled cable, a vintage-style stained glass strap, and a Certificate of Authenticity. Page took his beloved Telecaster and made it his own. "It's a truly fascinating guitar," he says.
