This book is the second in the series from the author of "A History of Oshkosh Motor Truck 1874 to 1969".  Growing Up With Oshkosh Mine Truck traces the history of heavy-duty mine trucks designed and built by Oshkosh Motor Truck, Inc. from 1952 until 1963.  From the W-2206-M's and W-2500 model for the Messabi Iron Range, to the development of the W-2800 and W-2803 models that were sold and utilized worldwide, this 43-page book traces the 11 year history of this truck line with expertly written and informative captions and photographs.

Author Paul Mosling Morton is a grandson of B. A. Mosling, one of the co-founders of Oshkosh Motor Truck Company, Inc. (now Oshkosh Corporation). Paul spent his time in the factory, riding in various Oshkosh trucks, with his dad or a truck tester, and accompanied his dad on several service calls.  His interest in the company spans 65 years during which he accumulated a large file of Oshkosh truck information.
