ANTIQUE BONE HANDLED FORK antique 1850s bone handled fork with three tine ends - measuring about 7 3/8" in length. Two pins with what appears to be a pewter bolster to hold the secure bone handles in place. This folk dates to the Civil War era or a bit earlier - not marked. Size is 7 3/8' long and 3/4" at widest point of folk. Condition is very good with some minor discoloration to the bone. The tines are of slightly different length, appear to be made that way made that way or may be worn that way from use. A wonderful primitive fork - nice addition to any collection or display.
