A gorgeous example of an antique Japanese Totai Shippo Cloisonne on a porcelain ceramic vase with beautiful birds, flowers, and butterflies over the tree bark texture.

The Meiji Period is from 1868-1912

An intricate, and difficult piece to make in this technique.

You will notice some of the glaze is missing at the bottom of one side, this can be expected with a piece this old, antique.
