COPPER 1/4 PINT ANTIQUE FUNNEL WITH FILTER REMOVED

UNKNOWN USE POSSIBLY WINE / ALCOHOL / MAYBE ROYAL NAVY RUN RATION FUNNEL?

Here we have a copper funnel, size not marked.

It is in good used condition, with signs of age and use. I don’t know it’s exact origin story, I’ve seen that the British Royal Navy used something similar for handing out the rum ration however I’m not sure and so make no guarantees.

The funnel features a removed filter, so the funnel goes straight through.

Approx 9cm tall and 8cm diameter.

* I have two of these funnels, the other is very similar size and stamped 1/4 pt (1/4 pint) so I assume this is too. This one had also had its filter/screen removed at some point in its life.
