I specialise
in non-dealer standard BMW bikes and the odd (usually) Italian bike when I can
get them. I've been on eBay for over 15 years and in the trade for a lot
longer than that.

The bike
will be as I got it, or has been washed by myself before the photography as part of checking the machine over.
I always
ride the bikes and clean them myself to check and make sure this is as full a
description as possible.
Bike is sold as a working, ride home machine unless stated otherwise and sold as spares repair.

GENERAL
OVERVIEW:
You know what, this is one of the nicest condition early GS I have had!
Lovely really with very little corrosion and marks for the age and mileage, a credit to it's only owner.
FULL BMW dealer history too, I will put another years MOT on it for sale.
There is something about it which I may have forgotten to mention, but the price reflects that...

SPECIFICATION AND EXTRAS:
Early TE, so heated grips, cruise control, ESA, LED light, hand guards, riding modes.
Also spotlights, cylinder head protectors, head light protector and BMW sat nav unit.
SERVICE
HISTORY:
Full BMW dealer to date! Last serviced at 47700 K miles on 17/04/2023, so up to date.
I would definitely run to 54 K now and get onto mileages.
Everything else is OK, front tyre or a pair soon...
FAULTS
AND ISSUES:
Everything visible should pictured below.
Condition is really really good for the age and miles, this has been cleaned and cared for a lot!
Almost no corrosion on the engine or alloy, it's a miracle! A few wear and tear marks as you might expect but really, very very good.
Needs a front tyre soon, so I think a new pair in a thousand or so really.
TEST RIDE:
Rides very
well! All works as it should, no issues I can tell.
Steering slightly off with the tyre, but to be expected and of course will be fixed with a tyre.
CONCLUSIONS:
If you can live with the colour, which is a really nice full pearl metallic then great, if not a couple of hundred quid will sort it...
I either case, the bike is really nice, and a credit to it's only owner. A full BMW history at this age is a welcome bonus too!
Not bad at all, I have had a LOT of worse ones for more money...

south west, NORTH DORSET, close to the A303, the M3 and about an hour from
Bath, Bristol and Southampton, or two 1/2 hours drive/95 miles from London.
I am also
convenient for a mainline railway station (Gillingham Dorset) with direct
services from London Waterloo to Exeter and I would be happy to collect you
from the local railway station if you wish to travel here by train and then
ride the bike home.

I am selling
this bike as a TRADER and I do this as my full-time occupation, with
thirty-plus years' experience in the trade.
The bike IS
NOT registered to me but will be on a dealer S.O.R.N. Most of my stock is
purchased directly from official dealers, so the bikes have been checked by the
dealer as well as myself.
I will
always ride and check the machines before sale, and they are fully able to be
ridden home, unless otherwise noted in the ad, in which case they will be
listed as spares or repair/project.
I have a
very fine professional old school local workshop who do work for me, so
anything done on the bikes is done by an expert!

from new, but I can share my opinion as to the bike's appearance and mechanical
