Notes: Please note, these shoes are marked a size "7 D", with a handwritten "1/2" added to both shoes. In my opinion these shoes are actually a 7D, but as these shoes are on the van last which runs about a half size large for most people, the previous owner of these shoes added the "1/2" under the incorrect belief that these shoes were not size marked correctly. These shoes are unlined in the vamps and lined with calfskin in the heels and feature Alden's signature handsewn apron "LHS" stitching. Cosmetically, these shoes show creasing at the vamps and light creasing at the back heel area of the shoes. There are lightmarks at the toes of both shoes and scuffing at the back heel area of both shoes. There is some variaion of color to the leather around the foot opening. The soles show wear but remain firm to the press with about 70% of their original life remaining. The original heels show very light edge wear only to the rubber part of the toplift.
