Ordnance Survey one inch map of Bristol and Bath. Sheet 112. Third Large Sheet Series. Published in 1907. Revised in 1903-5. Railways revised to January 1914. Minor corrections to January 1914.

Cloth mounted map.

Also covers Avonmouth, Old Sodbury, Chippenham, Melksham, Edington, Trowbridge, Radstock, Chew Magna, Nempnett Thrubwell and Pill.

A used map with some discolouration on the margins but otherwise with a bright, clean unmarked map face with little wear on the folds. The cloth backing is good and strong although foxed. It also has evidence that this was one of the First World War printings with cover details printed directly on it. This is mostly hidden by the cheap and worn T. Fisher Unwin covers, which have a "Bristol" paper sticker on the front, and are becoming detached from the cloth backing.

Do not be put off by the covers - this is an excellent copy of the map itself

Edition/Print Code: 9.11. 3.14.
