This is a very high-quality hand made handpan that sounds absolutely beautiful.  It is one of their traveller series, so has an internal diameter of 18.5" (if you measure over the top of the instrument it's more like 21", due to the curvature).  Material is stainless steel and it has a coppery finish.

It was made in 2020 and we bought it new directly from Meridian.

It has been used, so shows signs of this (you obviously have to strike them to play them), but it has only had very occasional light use in a professional recording studio, and it has never left the building since the day it arrived. It has always been very carefully stored and it is therefore still in great condition after four years.

There is one tiny ding on the peripheral flange, which is shown in the pictures, but this doesn't affect playability or sound. I have also noticed that the perimeter of the sound hole on the bottom isn't totally even, but I'm not sure if it ever was, given that this is hand made.

These currently cost £1415 new and there is a waiting list for this particular scale.
