Welcome to my listing for a refurbished Dyson DC25 “Ball” vacuum cleaner, I have decided to restart refurbishment activities. Give your green credentials a boost and buy a high quality refurbished machine. The initial model names are used to identify the colour of the machine which would when new have a varied assortment of accessories. I aim to supply good value vacuum cleaners which have been restored to full functionality and maximum performance and provide ongoing support until the machine reaches the end of its  serviceable life.

REFURBISHMENT PROCESS:

All my refurbished Dyson cleaners are refurbished to the very highest of standards, and as such you can be assured of the very best refurbished Dyson cleaner with excellent performance and reliability. All machines are stripped down to enable the full inspection and cleaning of all parts, any damaged parts are removed and sent for recycling. All plastic parts are then washed in a hot disinfectant and detergent solution to remove any dirt and odours from previous use as well as any scuff marks. The old Pre and Post motor filters along with the back hose are machine washed and multiple rinsed.

All motors units are checked for noise and carbon brush wear, any which do not meet my requirements are scrapped. Brushbars are checked for wear and any which show excess wear are discarded before being stripped and cleaned and bearings either replaced or lubricated . The mains power cord flex is inspected for any sign of damage, splits, nicks etc and fitment of a moulded plug (I refuse to supply a machine without a fitted moulded plug) any power cables which fail checks are discarded .The cyclone and bin assembly is dismantled and washed and disinfected as the other plastic parts and internal gaskets checked for correct functionality. All parts are then left to air dry. 

On rebuild of the machine all gaskets and seals are checked and replaced where necessary and silicone treated. The completed machine is then given a full function test and electrical safety check before being packaged.

Note : This is a used refurbished household appliance made predominantly of plastic, It will have scuffs, scratches, marks etc consistent with previous use. Any marks have no effect on the functionality of the machine. I grade all machines, the more expensive machines have fewer marks and more new parts, cheaper machines will have cosmetic challenges and brushbars with thread damage. These machines are not for sufferers of “Magpie Syndrome” who only like items which are nice and shiny they have varying degrees of cosmetic imperfection and frosting of the clear bin and cleaner head, it is a vacuum cleaner which will spend most of its life in the hall cupboard and not have pride of place in the china cabinet or on the fireplace mantle shelf.

All orders received before 3pm Mon-Fri will be sent out the same day via Parcelforce on a 24 hour next working day service. Orders received after 3pm or Saturday, Sunday or on Bank Holidays will be sent on the next working day. 

 Note : The included delivery is mainland UK, If you live in a delivery blackspot area where surcharges are usually charged such as the highlands of Scotland or where the parcel crossed water, then please contact me before purchase to check if a surcharge is applicable and the cost.

Should there be any issue with your machine on delivery please contact me to discuss resolution, my contact number will be on the warranty/purchase paperwork in the document wallet on the box front.

 Purchasers are responsible for all return shipping costs, unless by prior arrangement. Please do not return your cleaner until you have spoken to me and gained authorisation.

Guarantee & Returns

Your refurbished Dyson vacuum cleaner is covered by a full 30-day guarantee. Should you change your mind, or any faults occur, then you can return the cleaner for a refund, note a £20 fee will be charged if the machine has been used and is not faulty.

All refurbished cleaners are then covered by a 6 or 12 months parts & labour guarantee on electrical parts (see warranty/purchase certificate), which starts on the expected day of delivery including return postage. Should any fault occur within this period, then I will repair the cleaner free of charge. the machine will then have a further 12 months labour only warranty.

The purchaser is liable for the costs associated with returning the cleaner to me during the electrical parts guarantee period ( 6 or 12 months) and all postage and parts costs during the labour only section of the warranty ( following 12 months), any parts are exchange and most repairs can be completed with user swappable parts. Please contact me on the number supplied if you have a problem and think you need to make a guarantee claim and we will arrange collection of the cleaner for return to us.

 PLEASE DO NOT RETURN YOUR VACUUM FOR ANY REASON WITHOUT HAVING CONTACTED ME BEFOREHAND

 If your machine needs to be returned for repair under warranty then please re-pack the machine in the box it was originally supplied in.  I  will arrange for courier collection who will have a pre-addressed label with him, so you do not need to label the box.   

Exclusions and conditions to the guarantee

General everyday wear and tear: including but not limited to belts, brushbars, hoses, mains cables etc, motors due to failure to maintain filters, overfilling of the bin and continuing usage when blocked. Use of the cleaner other than as a domestic appliance, appliances used for commercial use will only carry a maximum 90 day warranty from purchase. Damage due to ingestion of water or other liquids, these are a bagless not a wet and dry vacuum.

Repairs attempted by any third party will result in the guarantee becoming null and void, other than by prior arrangement. Repairs by a third part will not be reimbursed other than by arrangement.
