ROBINSON CRUSOE-TOLD ANEW is a book in The "Storyland" Series published by Sam'l Gabriel Sons & Company in New York in 1916.  No other year of publication is listed for this book and the earliest edition I could find was 1916 so this might be a First Edition.  It is No. 935 (as printed on the lower back cover).  The book measures 8 5/8" x 6 1/4" and has 48 pages.  The front and back covers are thick but smooth, flexible cardboard and the front cover is illustrated.  The spine is covered with darker green cloth, some of which has peeled off from the bottom but can easily be reglued (photo 2).  The covers show corner, edge, and upper/lower spine wear.  Some pages have light stains and most are lightly toned.  There are black and white illustrations as well as 4 full-page vibrant color plates.  The inside cover page has a former child owner written in pencil along with some other writing.  The binding is hard to open at the front cover (photos 3,4) but is easier farther into the book.  The back cover and last page are attached but separated from the two staples which help to hold the book together along with the dark green cloth spine (photo 12).  Please view all photos as they are part of the description, ask questions, and thanks for looking.  Additional photos provided upon request.  This will be shipped Media Mail or can be picked up at zip code 28557, if you are travelling this way.
