Cloth map mounted in sections.
Knighton is towards the south east corner of this map, which also includes Montgomery, Bishop's Castle, Clun, Newtown, Caersws, Llanidloes, Abbey Cwnhir and Llangunllo, as well as large swathes of lightly populated mid Wales
The map panels are very good but with varying levels of discolouration close to the dissections and also a route from the eastern edge of the map through Clun to Newtown lightly marked with dashes and a red ink spot close to Newtown. The cloth backing is sound and strong but with some foxing, especially on the dissections. The covers are used but in very good state.
Overall a very good map.
