Never used Vintage 1950's MANO 2-Sided Floral Petit Point Eyeglass Case & Original Box. This is a wonderful, like new vintage (probably 1950's) petit point eyeglass case. The original box is like new also. The design is the same on both sides of the case and is very detailed, executed in the tiniest petit-point stitches imaginable. The inside of the case is lined with very finely woven fabric which appears to be cream color silk. It is very lightly padded for the protection of the eyeglasses. The gold metal hinged opening closes with 2 teardrop clasps that close securely. There is no tarnish on the gold-tone metal. This was no doubt purchased on a trip through Europe, probably in Germany because the box is from a company in Stuttgart, in the middle of the last century and tucked away until recently.
