Rolleiflex SL66 for repair or parts

I had this camera for over 40 years, and it has seen relatively little  (and no commercial)use. A few weeks ago, the shutter got stuck in the open position (red arrow in pictures shows half-open shutter curtain). The mirror is up (as it would be during exposure; see red arrow in one of the pictures), so I cannot show you a view through the focusing screen / lens. The focusing screen is clear with only a little dust, and focusing works smoothly.

Other than the shutter problem, the camera always worked very well. Focus was exact, all the exposure times were correct, the aperture closed properly, and the mirror worked as expected, too. The exterior of the camera is good, with only light marks in the varnish and the ‘leather’ covering is in good condition, but not perfect, as you will see in the pictures.

The camera comes with the Planar 80mm f/2.8, which is also in very good condition: The glass has no scratches or polishing marks, no haze or balsam separation or coating problems, and only very little dust, as you might expect of a camera that is almost 60 years old. The bellows is light-tight and focusing and lens tilting work very well. Overall, it was a great camera, until the shutter got stuck a few weeks ago. It comes complete with the lens cover, film insert and dark slide.

The camera and packaging weighs about 6 pounds and the box will be 11” x 8” x 8”. Ebay will determine shipping costs to your destination. I will also separately sell two great Sonnar lenses for this camera: 150mm F/4and 250mm F/5.6, and I will combine shipping.
