1:43 March 721g nose mounted radiator - Italian GP 1972

This is a hand crafted Scratch built model.

In mid 1972 the March Works Team abandoned the failed 721X concept and produced the 721G by converting existing 722 F2 chassis to F1 spec. The result was much more competitive cars for Ronnie Peterson and Niki Lauda. The ā€˜Gā€™ designation refers to the Guinness Book of Records, because the whole project took only nine days.

The cars were built so quickly by fitting a Cosworth DFV V8 engine and larger fuel tanks to their 722 F2 chassis.
