All components have been fully tested to ensure they are in optimum electrical working order and therefor safe and reliable for future use. Part of our safety testing is to ensure the power cable is in sound working order and with no damage. In any case where the cable isn't in great condition, we always fit a brand new one.
These straighteners are in used condition so will have marks and/or fading/discolouring from previous use.
Please view ALL photos to make sure you are happy with their condition before buying. We do not grade them as people's opinions of condition always vary.
The pictures you see are the actual GHDs that you will receive, the cosmetic condition of the ghds has been taken into consideration before setting the asking price.

Boxed?
Most of the hair straighteners that we sell do not have the original packaging included. If they do then it will state 'Boxed' within the title and there will be packaging shown in the photos.
All of our items are sent well protected within a parcel box to avoid damage.

Returns
We accept returns of any ghds we sell. If you are not entirely happy simply contact us (we don't bite) within 14 days of purchase and we can offer a full refund or exchange. The refund will be for the amount paid for the FULL ebay listing amount (inc postage). The cost of you returning the item to us will not be covered.
We sell hundreds of ghds every year and pull out all the stops to keep everyone happy. We understand that errors occur and sometimes life on ebay isn't perfect. But if you have a problem with any part of our transaction please contact us (and we love it when people are polite) We will always do everything that we can to help as quickly as possible.

Shipping
As a rule we ship all items purchased before 12noon the same day. This means if you buy after 12noon they will generally shipped the following working day. Items purchased after 12noon on a Friday will be shipped on the Monday. Please note that our free shipping uses Royal Mails First Class Signed for service. Although this often means that the item arrives the next day, they do not guarantee it. Ebays estimated delivery date is exactly that, estimated.
WE CANNOT SHIP TO ALTERNATIVE ADDRESSES - to protect our buyers from fraud we will only send to the postal address that you select upon ebay checkout.

Holograms
From mid 2012 onwards ghd stopped producing their goods with the hologram on the inside of the arm (next to the model sticker). Ghd now only have a hologram sticker on the cable - not the ghds themselves. This should be understood when buying newer ghds. When selling used ghds we often replace the cable so they are more reliable for customer's future use. There for if you are buying ghds that have been produced since 2012 they may not have a hologram on. They can still be checked for authenticity by calling ghd themselves or by seeing the website link to a comprehensive "how to spot a fake" guide.
All of our ghds are given a full check to ensure they are authentic and we cannot be fooled.

Heater Plates
Ghd plates are designed to 'float'. The plate holders are sat on rubber mounts. this is so the plates are not rigid. The plates will therefor rock side to side - This is not a defect.

Ghd Manufacturing
GHDs were always made in Korea until around 2010. Models between 2010 and the end of 2012 often say made in PRC on them. This is after new ownership began to change the location of manufacturing. From 2012 onwards they say Made in China on them and still some have PRC on them. This is again from a change in ownership and the new owners have moved all production to two different sites in china. This is critical as a lot of out of date ghd fake guides state that real ghds always say made in Korea. Any guides now stating this are lacking this detail and knowledge.
