Author Biography

    Dr Batmanghelidj was born in 1931. We studied at Paddington London medical school and became a doctor of medicine in Iran. He was jailed at start of the Iran Revoultion against the Shah and in effect became the Prison Doctor,whilst undertaking this duty he foudn out about the uses of Water which was almost the only medicine he had access to. He moved to the USA in 1982. In 1992 he wrote his book Your Body's many cries for waterwhich was groundbreaking. He went to produce several other titles. This book was finished just before his death on 15th November 2004. This book is published after death by his wife Xiaopo and is tribute to his tireless efforts to transform our commerce driven medical system.
