This Precision Scale Co Inc electric locomotive is a rare find, especially in its New Old Stock (NOS) condition. The Milw EP-3 Bipolar #E3 model, designed with a 2-C-1+1-C-2 wheel configuration, is a delightful addition to any collector's inventory. Made of brass and operating on DC power, this analog-controlled locomotive is a perfect fit for HO gauge model railroads. The model's unique feature is its Chicago Railroad Fair paint scheme, which adds to its value and character.

The #EP-3 is one of five electric locomotives (#10250–#10254) ordered from General Electric by the Milwaukee Road in 1919 for passenger services on the newly electrified Coast Division.  The locomotives operated on MILW's Coast Division from 1919 until 1957 and came to symbolise The Olympian, the railroad's premier passenger service between Chicago and Seattle.  The locomotive was powered by concealed storage batteries when on stage at the fair.

This models has sand boxes on hood, cooling coils on top, single lamp headlight, side cab door removed, friction bearings, marker lamps, added air horn, new roof cover.  Factory painted Grey / Maroon / Orange / Black with 6 Silver nose stripes, Lettered 'The Milwaukee Road' and low mounted CMStP&P Red and White Herald

The model was obtained direct from Precision Scale and is unused - per the photos it is in excellent condition.  Box, foam and model wrapping are also original and in excellent condition.
