The MJSeriesRhoadsRR24MG continues the metal legacy pioneered by guitarist Randy Rhoads, who achieved immortal status despite his early death.The MJSeriesRhoadsRR24MG is a through-body with an alder body that provides rich resonance and graphite reinforcement rods for ultimate stability. It features a 3-piece maple neck structure.
The 12- to 16-inch compound-radius ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and pearloid shark fin inlays provides ideal playability for comfortable chord playing near the nut and high-position soloing. .
The luminous Luminlay side dots ensure high visibility of fret positions even on dark stages.
The EMG81 bridge pickup and EMG85 neck pickup cover a thick and core midrange, a scaley low end, and a delicate high end.
The EMG81 bridge pickup provides a dense lead sound that doesn't get drowned out by the band sound, and the EMG85 neck pickup provides a heavy sound with clear harmonics.
3-way pickup switching, 1 volume, 1 tone control allows for flexible and intuitive sound design.
Other premium features include a Gotoh GE1996TSeries Double-Locking tremolo, Gotoh sealed die-cast chewing machine, and Dunlop Dual-Locking strap buttons.
