Sorry if this is a cheeky question -  but do you k now what you want to be when you grow up? I've always wanted to be a writer like my mum.  But my new teacher Mr Ellis only gave me 6 out of 50 on my English test, and I don't think writers are allowed to get only 6 out of 50. So this is a book about me trying out the things a Pea might be - like a per therapist, or a footballer, or an artist - and if you aren't sure, maybe it will give you some ideas.  (If you want to be a writer you should carry on with that, only don't write books about mermaids because my mum does those already.)
