I am selling this legacy & bokehlicious portrait lens from my collection:

*** RARE & EARLY: Asahi Pentax Auto-Takumar 85mm F/1.8 (standard m42 mount) - with adapter it is usable also with all modern CSC cameras
(Matching Pentax UV filter + generic protective lens caps are included)

** beautifully used and clean outter visual condition - I mean it is beautiful in sense of level of patina achieved by using of it (most beautiful patinated piece I have ever had) - otherwise used, of course, but very nice condition for its age in general
** fully working order
** TOP sharpness & overall performance when fully opened (see uploaded sample photos)
** aperture blades are snappy and without oil
** aperture ring is smooth
** focusing ring is fairly smooth, however bit tougher (on the other hand it is very fine for precise focusing)
** diaphragm reset lever is smooth
** beautiful optics (bright & clear) - no scratches, no chips, I do not see any living fungus, neither haze, some fine and tiny dust particles/inclusions could be spotted + few extra fine and micro cleaning/rubbing dots on the rear element’s surface (almost invisible) - without any impact, of course… - really great optical condition for its age and its whole life journey :)

NOTICE 1: The lens is a vintage photo equipment, it is in a confirmed (working) order and I have not found out anything influencing its general functionality (except the mentioned above). Its cosmetic condition is described in a good faith and as fair as possible. I do not try to hide anything, but I am only a human with subjective point of view, so I can unintentionally overlook some detail at the end and some light maintenance could be considered - thus the item is being sold in “as is” outter/inner condition. NOTICE 2: I would like to appreciate all reliable and valuable buyers I have already dealt with, however I have been more and more experiencing strange behaviour from some kind of buyers, who bid on items and do not pay/communicate then or immediately cancel the orders without any explanation.

In this case I am sorry to bother also all of the responsible buyers with formal terms of bidding on my listings, unfortunately there is no other ebay protection (for sellers) against the fraudulent users:

  1. buyers with zero feedback - can bid only upon my approval
  2. payment is due within 24hrs
  3. in case the payment is not processed I will send only one payment reminder - when someone still does not pay/communicate, such an order will be canceled then and problematic buyer will be blocked for future biddings
  4. if you can not pay in time but you are a serious buyer, you can contact me and I will do my best (if possible) to meet your needs
  5. you can contact me about whatever and whenever you need, but, please, do not ask me about sooner endings with “buy it now” offers when a listing is live (active bids placed)
