Original Meyle

Description:
The most common cause of defects in the wishbone is the rubber bearings, which become brittle and tear over time. This means that the wishbone has more play without the desired damping. Accordingly, a defective rubber bearing on the wishbone can be noticed in reduced tracking accuracy, noise development on bumps (rumbling), poorer driving dynamics when cornering and high tire wear on one side. A damaged wishbone can affect other components of the chassis, so it should be replaced immediately to avoid an expensive repair. In many cases it is cheaper to replace the entire wishbone instead of pressing in individual rubber bearings. In addition to wishbones and other chassis components, you can find many other spare parts for your Porsche model in our shop.

The Meyle company was founded in Hamburg in 1958 under the name Wulf Gaertner GmbH to export original spare parts from German car manufacturers to Latin America. In 1995, the MEYLE brand was taken over, which is now also the company's namesake. With this takeover came the step from exporter to manufacturer of our own products. Today, Meyle has several production plants in which chassis and steering parts as well as rubber-metal parts are developed and manufactured, with which, in addition to the spare parts business, also original equipment manufacturers or Automobile manufacturers (OEM) are supplied with series parts.
