Very Rare Antique 19th century Carl P. Svensson 3 tier accent/Parlor table. Svensson was a 19th century furniture maker working in Stockholm Sweden who passed in 1911 and his pieces are very sought after, this piece is a three tier solid wood table with the bottom tiers having columned rails and the center tiers turn individually, the base is a thick pedestal base and the top has an ornate embossed pattern in the wood, the table shows some damage with some splitting in the wood and wear to the finish, the table measures 20 1/2'' wide x 31'' tall.

Some additional information about Svensson that I found while researching:

His full name is recorded as Carl Petter Svennson and he was born in Stockholm on 14th June 1835. He is first recorded in trade directories as a master upholsterer in Gävle in 1860 and three years later in Stockholm at Brunkebergstorg 11; a central location near to the Opera. He was then appointed, in 1867, upholsterer to the Royal Court of Sweden. The appointment may have been due to the fact that Svennson and his wife has acted as foster parents to an illegitimate daughter of the king, Karl XV by Mrs Svennson's half-sister the actress Hanna Styrell-Stjernblad in 1865.
