This listing is for a World War 1 Enlisted US Army jacket worn by a Private First Class in Company S of the 363th Infantry Regiment in the 91st Division.

One of the collar devices on this jacket is the US National Army (Intertwined USNA) collar device and the other is the crossed rifles  with 363 above and S below (363rd Infantry, Company S).  There is a 91st Division shoulder patch on the left shoulder.  There is a six month overseas stripe on the left sleeve as well as the red honorable discharge stripe.  The right sleeve has the Private First Class rank insignia for Wagoner.

This jacket is the standard issue jacket with a full liner.

The shoulder patch and private first class rank are machine sewn on.

The overseas stripe and honorable discharge stripe are hand sewn on.

I could only find three imperfections on this jacket.  There are two extremely small moth bites on the front of the jacket.  There is one moth bite on the shoulder on the back of the jacket.  I hadn't noticed the moth bites on the jacket until I used the bright light to help photograph it.  I tried to photograph all of these.   It's very difficult to see the moth bites under normal lighting conditions.

This jacket is almost in perfect condition with such minor imperfections.  The collar devices identifies this jacket to a specific unit .  If you are looking for a World War 1 enlisted jacket it would be hard to find one to improve this one.

 Please Note:

I've been collecting militaria for over 50 years. My collection covers all branches and all time periods. I'm sorry if I'm not an expert but it's extremely hard to know everything about everything.  I do my best in describing what I have listed.  Many people will know what they are looking at and know if I am correct in my description but there are some people that are like me and are still trying to learn the terms, lingo and nuances of the military collecting field.  To those people I apologize if I make a mistake in a description.  If you notice a mistake, just let me know.  I will happily correct the error in the listing.
