A beautifully crafted triple inkwell desk top set in lovely (assumed) oak wood. Each inkwell container slides back and reveals a ceramic empty inkwell ready for refilling. One of the inkwells has had a piece glued back on and two have small chips but these aren't noticeable when in their spaces.

The top half folds up and comes complete with glass pen rest and five used nibbed pens ready for writing. There are blotches of old pink throughout the wood, but these add to the charm and on the top in one corner lie the initials W.H.C of the original owner.

Along the back edge is a small missing piece of the wood, but when placed on the desk it's hard to see.

Difficult to date, but likely Edwardian.

250mm long x 165mm wide x 110mm high
