Original oil painting on canvas by well listed artist Frits Lucien Ohl. Ohl was born in the Indonesia in 1904. He was active in Jakarta Java and Palembang. In 1954 he moved to The Hague in the Netherlands. His favorite subjects were Indonesia landscapes, Junks and Harbor Scenes and Flamboyant Trees. This is a very nice example of his work. A vibrant painting with heavy layers of paint and wonderful color. It is a large piece measuring 30” by 24” Signed in lower right. I have taken out of the frame which is a 1960’s ordinary very large heavy frame. I am selling without the frame to accommodate easier shipping. The painting is in good condition. There was a description from the gallery in 1964 adhered to the frame, I will include this. Please use photos as a guide and PLEASE ask any questions prior to bidding I will promptly respond.
