Under Eastern Skies "Airborne: Under Eastern Skies" explores the ongoing evolution of the para-trooper after World War II. Covering everything between the Korean War in the 1950's to British SAS involvement in the Falkland Islands during the 1980's "Under Eastern Skies" explores airborne from the American British French and Russian perspectives. Through any weather terrain or circumstance these units proved to possess the qualities of bravery strength and fortitude that have become so typical of the airborne. DESTINATION BERLIN " Destination Berlin" follows the journey of the airborne soldier in the latter years of World War II. Already well established during the first few years of the war the use of airborne soldiers by the Americans and British continued as these units infiltrated enemy lines to break communications rescue hostages and cause general havoc. Battles in Normandy Holland and Germany were areas in which the airborne shined. These are the airborne soldiers who established the traditions of sacrifice courage and valor that continue with modern day airborne units.
