3 x 100 gram skeins of a gorgeous, unfortunately discontinued, wool and silk yarn in 8 ply or Double Knit according to the needle sizes (3.5-4.5 mm) and number of stitches (20-24). However, Ravelry has it listed as a sport or 5 ply yarn. Not sure why.

The colour is white but not a pure white. Purl Soho always have lots of different names for their whites. I think it's called heirloom white, which is a lovely slightly off-white shade. You can see the contrast with the white tag.

This yarn really is luxurious as you'd expect from a blend of 80% merino wool and 20% mulberry silk. A pleasure to knit. It is a beautifully soft yarn but with lots of body. It's such a shame it's been discontinued.

This could be enough for a child's or toddler's garment, depending on age and size, or adult accessories such as a small scarf, cowl, gloves, hat. It could also be combined with other similar weight yarn to make a larger item.

I love this description from Ravelry: "A gentle luster, a smart spin and a sumptuous drape make Purl Soho’s Mulberry Merino a truly classic fiber. This sportweight blend of extrafine merino and mulberry silk is at once special and basic. We especially love the depth and richness the silk lends to the color, as well as its three-season weight. Use Mulberry Merino for gorgeous sweaters, soft and elegant scarves, beautiful hats and heirloom baby gear!"

Each skein is 100 grams and is approx 247 yards or approx 226 metres.

I am happy to combine items to save on postage wherever possible.
