This is a find and a half as this is a stunning enamel Hampden dial with a "cottage and lighthouse scene". This is not a forgery though factory made and real. The hands are Hampden thin railroad pieces and the crystal is glass not a flaw. Across this coin silver case is 59mm wide and signed on the inside "A.W.C.Co" and the serial number is 175,737. No engravings on the back as it is smooth to the touch and super clean is this coin silver swing out case. The movement is stem wind and lever set and there are 17 clean and inspected jewels and they are all in screw down jewel settings. The serial number for this 18 size open face movement is 969,000 which tells me this piece was produced at the Canton Ohio factory in the year 1896. This is a non railroad high grade movement and it is a model 3 movement. As good as it gets with a stunning enamel scene dial. Serviced the proper way with a new mainspring so expect the best from this piece ;-)
